Egypt's Cybersecurity Academy Opens Applications to Train 5,000 Youth and Students
The second edition of the Cybersecurity Academy for Emergence and Youth has officially launched in Egypt, aiming to train 5,000 participants across different age groups. The national initiative, led by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), is designed to build a strong talent pool in the critical field of cybersecurity and enhance the digital resilience of the nation's youth.

A Multi-Track Program for All Ages
The academy offers specialized, free-of-charge training tailored to three distinct groups to ensure a comprehensive approach to building cybersecurity skills nationwide:
2,000 School Students (ages 10-17): This track will focus on educating children and teenagers on safe internet practices and digital citizenship.
2,000 University Students: This track will provide training in technical and freelance skills to prepare university students for future digital careers.
1,000 University Graduates: This advanced track offers hands-on cybersecurity training designed to equip recent graduates with the practical skills needed to enter the job market.
What Participants Can Expect
The program will be rolled out across 10 governorates, including Greater Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan. The curriculum will use a variety of engaging learning methods, such as interactive lectures, cybersecurity games, and practical, hands-on workshops. For the first time, participants who complete the program will be awarded accredited academic certificates.
A Collaborative National Initiative
This major initiative is organized by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It is being held in collaboration with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the National Center for Computer and Network Emergencies (EG-CERT), with support from several global tech companies.
