Misr El Kheir Celebrates Graduation of Teams from Community Innovation Challenge
Misr El Kheir, in collaboration with United Energy Egypt, recently celebrated the graduation of participating teams and projects from the Community Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge. The initiative is designed to support entrepreneurs and innovators addressing key challenges in Ras Ghareb, Red Sea, particularly in the vital sectors of water, energy, and agriculture.
Fostering Local Solutions in Ras Ghareb
The Community Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge provides comprehensive support to participants, guiding their projects from the initial idea stage through to the development of a working prototype. This support encompasses technical assistance, targeted training programs, valuable mentoring sessions, and financial backing of up to EGP 100,000 per team to facilitate prototype implementation. The challenge specifically aims to tackle pressing local issues identified within the Ras Ghareb community.

The graduation ceremony honored five teams and their innovative projects, all focused on the field of renewable energy. These projects, having successfully completed the program, are poised to contribute to sustainable solutions. The recognized projects are: Energetic, Wefera, VerTechX, Aquaguardians, and Greenium.
